Privacy

The public barometer is primarily informational. Its browser telemetry is sampled at 10% when neither Do Not Track nor Global Privacy Control is enabled. The payload contains page-performance timings, coarse viewport and display-density buckets, reduced-motion preference, scene-quality labels; it does not contain page text or form content.

The telemetry endpoint accepts a fixed list of numeric timings and coarse device categories. It stores only one-hour aggregates, never raw events, individual measurements, page paths, query strings or visitor identifiers. Timing histograms are retained for seven days; sampled page-category counts are retained for 30 days and published only when a category reaches 20 observations. Page counts are sampled loads, not unique people or sessions. Collection is sampled at 10% and stops when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled; the telemetry endpoint also discards requests carrying the Sec-GPC: 1 signal. Hosting providers may separately process network request metadata under their own retention controls.

When enabled by the hosting edge, Cloudflare Web Analytics may also load a browser beacon that reports page-navigation performance timings to this site’s /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. Cloudflare says this service does not track individual end users across its customers’ Internet properties. The beacon is allowed only when the request has neither DNT: 1 nor Sec-GPC: 1; either signal removes the beacon script from the page’s Content Security Policy. This is separate from ASN’s sampled telemetry described above.

The public Intelligence Index contains materialized observations about AI resources. It does not expose private operator records or credentials.
